We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrican and Foreman to lead commercial and multifamily electrical projects. You'll oversee field crews, maintain quality and safety standards, and coordinate with project managers and general contractors. This role requires strong technical knowledge, proven leadership ability, and a commitment to mentoring apprentices.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor electrical crews and apprentices
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure PPE compliance
  • Maintain safe, organized jobsites
  • Interpret electrical blueprints and specifications
  • Perform complex installations, including conduit runs, panels, and system connections
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
  • Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and company standards
  • Maintain a 4-6 week look-ahead schedule
  • Coordinate with other trades and general contractors
  • Communicate with inspectors to ensure compliance
  • Provide progress reports to management
  • Conduct daily quality checks and pre-inspections
  • Document issues and implement corrective actions
  • Complete punch list items and ensure high-quality finishes
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and project records
  • Support job costing and productivity tracking
  • Use company software for reporting, material tracking, and safety documentation

Qualifications

  • Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician License (required)
  • 4 or more years of electrical experience; commercial/multifamily preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of NEC, Colorado electrical codes, and OSHA standards
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in varied conditions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-time position, W-2 employee role.
  • Hourly Pay Range: $35 to $45 per hour (based on experience)
  • Overtime Pay: Time and a half in compliance with Colorado law
  • Annual performance reviews with potential wage increases
  • Medical Insurance: Majority of employee premiums covered (after 90 days)
  • Life Insurance: $10,000 policy provided
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Workers' Compensation Coverage
  • Paid Holidays 
  • Sick Leave: 48 hours annually (accrues from day one, available after 90 days per Colorado law)
  • PTO: 48 hours annually beginning after 1 year
  • Company Vehicle with gas card and maintenance (role-dependent)
  • Leadership opportunities within commercial and multifamily divisions
  • Future growth into project management or senior leadership roles
